OP TRAILBLAZE

This weekend, officers from your local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out Operation Trailblaze patrols across rural areas within our community.

Operation Trailblaze is focused on tackling the illegal use of off-road vehicles, including motorcycles, quad bikes and 4x4 vehicles. Illegal off-roading can cause significant damage to the countryside, impact wildlife, create nuisance for local residents, and affect those who legally use our rural spaces.

Officers will be conducting high-visibility patrols, engaging with landowners and members of the public, and taking enforcement action where offences are identified.

We encourage anyone with information about illegal off-roading activity to speak with officers while they are on patrol or report it to the police.
